Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This policy explains how TechAtrium Innovations (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data you provide through the AI Business Check-up, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
We only collect what the check-up needs:
- About your business — business name, industry, approximate team size, and the tools you tell us you already use.
- Your answers — every response in the questionnaire, including any free-text description or frustration you choose to write in your own words.
- Your contact details — name, email address and, if you provide it, mobile number.
- Your consent choices — whether you agreed to us using your details for your results, and separately whether you opted in to marketing.
- Technical data — a session identifier stored in a cookie, standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, and basic analytics about how the site is used: pages viewed, the site you arrived from, and general device and browser information. See section 8.
We do not ask for and do not want NRIC or FIN numbers, financial account details, or any health information. Please do not enter these in the free-text fields.
2. Why we use it
- To calculate your AI readiness score and produce your personalised report.
- To send you your results and respond if you ask to speak to us.
- To prepare a proposal or recommendation if you request one after seeing your results.
- To protect the service from automated abuse and spam submissions.
- To improve the check-up itself, using aggregated and de-identified information.
- To send occasional tips and offers — only if you ticked the separate marketing box. You can opt out at any time.
3. How your results are produced
Your score, estimated hours, opportunities and recommended package are calculated by a fixed set of rules — not by artificial intelligence. AI is used only to write the plain-English summary that accompanies those numbers.
To do that, your assessment answers are sent to our AI providers, Anthropic and OpenAI, to generate the wording. No decision about you, your eligibility or your pricing is made by AI.
We remove your personal details before anything is sent. Your name, email address, mobile number and business name are automatically replaced with placeholders, and put back only in the version you see. We also screen your free text for email addresses, phone numbers and NRIC/FIN numbers and replace those the same way, in case you mentioned any while writing. Our AI providers do not receive them.
Where you use the “draft this for me” helper on a written answer, the words you have typed so far are sent to OpenAI — with the same details removed — so it can suggest a tidier version. You always see and can edit that suggestion before it is saved.
4. Consent, and withdrawing it
We collect and use your personal data on the basis of the consent you give at the contact step. Consent to receive marketing is separate and entirely optional — declining it does not affect your results.
You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at privacy@techatrium.com. We will action it within a reasonable time and tell you the likely consequences — typically that we can no longer send your report or follow up on it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Application hosting (Singapore region) |
| Supabase | Database storage (Singapore region) |
| Anthropic | Generating the written summary in your report |
| OpenAI | Suggesting wording when you ask for help drafting a written answer |
| Google Analytics & Tag Manager | Measuring how the site is used, so we can improve it |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Distinguishing real people from automated submissions |
| Mailgun | Delivering emails we send you |
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that processing.
Some of these providers operate outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
6. Where it is stored, and for how long
Your data is stored in a database hosted in Singapore, and the application runs in Singapore.
We keep your assessment and contact details for 24 months after your last interaction with us, after which they are deleted or anonymised — unless we are required to keep them longer for legal or accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used;
- correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data, or withdraw a consent you previously gave.
Email privacy@techatrium.com and we will respond within 30 days. If we cannot meet that timeframe, we will tell you when to expect a response.
8. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to remember your session, so that your answers stay with you as you move through the check-up and so that only your browser can open your results. It expires after 30 days.
We also use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, where they arrived from, and roughly what device they are on. This helps us see where the check-up loses people so we can fix it. It sets its own cookies, which last up to two years.
Analytics tells us about pages, not about you personally: it is not linked to your name, email or your answers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. If you would rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and most browsers can block these cookies directly.
reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies for fraud prevention, as described in Google’s policy linked above.
9. Security
Access to submitted data is restricted to authorised TechAtrium personnel. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our hosting providers’ access controls in place. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated to you where we hold your contact details.
11. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@techatrium.com.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
